Dia de los Niños Volunteers at Casa Grande
We’re taking a moment to shout out our superb volunteers for the City of Casa Grande’s inaugural Dia de los Niños event – an International Children’s Day celebration planned for April 29th from 5:30PM to 9:00PM at the Paul Mason Sports Complex. Our volunteers are Carolina Sepulveda, Holanda Rivera, and Juanita Tapia Alcantar. These three women have helped the City of Casa Grande Community Services team as advisors, they have helped our team connect with organizations, bands, businesses, and families that we’ve never reached before, as well as donated time and activities for families to enjoy during the celebration.
Holanda is a proud Sinaloa woman from a town called Fuerte, and a proud business owner along with her husband José, of J and H Party Rentals LLC. Her business will be the newest addition to the city’s list of approved park vendors.
You might recognize Carolina if you’ve ever been to Carniceria El Pima in Casa Grande, or one of the recent Rodeo Concerts held in our local rodeo grounds. While she has run a successful carniceria business since 2005, she has found her passion in helping Hispanic women in business succeed and serving her community.
Juanita, a local realty business owner who loves empowering other business owners, as well as home owners and renters. Juanita is half of a power couple with her husband Margarito. Together they help transform lives one home at a time.
We love collaborating with passionate community members to deliver exceptional experiences to Casa Grande residents. We are so grateful to live in a city of natural born leaders and bridge builders
We’ll see you on April 29th for a free fun-filled International Children’s Day celebration made just for kids that will feature inflatables, live music, vendor booths, food trucks, mini train rides, face painting, a 360 photo booth, soft play area, a foam pit, and more!
